Gary Kessler Associates
Gary Kessler (#250556) is a divemaster and Open Water SCUBA Instructor, certified by the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI). Gary's home dive locale is Lake Champlain, although he also has experience diving in the southeast U.S. (North Carolina to Florida), the Caribbean (particularly the Yucatan Peninsula), the coast of western Mexico, Hawaii, the Coral Sea, and Indian Ocean (Perth and Mauritius). Gary is certified to teach Discover SCUBA, Open Water Diver, SCUBA Refresher, Adventure Diver/Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and other PADI courses. His primary dive shop for teaching is Victory Sports in Colchester, Vermont. Gary is very familiar with the waters of Lake Champlain and Malletts Bay, and is happy to lead tours or Discover Local Diving courses for out-of-area visitors.
Gary will also work with individuals, families, or small groups to create a customized course and dive experience in Vermont and other geographic locations. Please contact Gary for further information.
In 2007, Gary developed a tutorial that explains basic diving physics and the use of dive tables, such as PADI's Recreational Dive Planner, to plan no-decompression dives. Divers are invited to use his Understanding and Applying Decompression Dive Tables dive table tutorial.
