SCUBA Charters

Gary is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain with a boat suitable for small dive — or even non-diving — groups on Lake Champlain.

In conjunction with SCUBATYME Scuba School & Dive Charters, Gary will be running dive charters from late-May through early-August to the wrecks in the Burlington Bay area or other locations on an ad hoc basis. We are targeting a regular schedule of mid-week evening and weekend morning or afternoon dives.

The most popular dive destinations in the lake are the underwater wrecks. Lake Champlain is a treasure of underwater historical sites, with several wrecks dating back to the Revolutionary War. Detailed information about these sites, and the rules and guidelines for diving them, can be found at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum (LCMM) Underwater Historic Preserves page and the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation (VT DHP) Underwater Historic Preserves page.
